Services Provided
Garage Door Specialists Inc provides garage door repair, installation, and maintenance services for residential and commercial properties in the NYC and Tri-State area. Our services include but are not limited to:
- Garage door repair and troubleshooting
- Spring, cable, and roller replacement
- Opener repair and installation
- New garage door installation
- Preventive maintenance and tune-ups
- Emergency and same-day service
Service Appointments
When you schedule a service appointment with us:
- We will make reasonable efforts to arrive within the scheduled time window
- You agree to provide accurate information about your service needs and property access
- An adult (18+) must be present at the property during the service appointment
- We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to weather, emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances
Estimates and Pricing
Our pricing practices:
- We provide upfront quotes before beginning any work
- Estimates are based on the information available at the time of assessment
- Additional issues discovered during service may require revised pricing, which will be communicated before proceeding
- You have the right to decline service after receiving a quote
- A service call fee may apply for on-site assessments
Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards. For larger projects, we may require a deposit before beginning work.
Warranties
Warranty terms vary by service and parts used:
- Parts warranties are provided by the manufacturer and vary by product
- Labor warranties are provided for a specified period after service completion
- Warranty details will be explained at the time of service
- Warranties do not cover damage from misuse, accidents, or unauthorized modifications
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions or damage not caused by our work
- You are responsible for disclosing any known issues with your garage door system
Customer Responsibilities
As our customer, you agree to:
- Provide safe access to the work area
- Clear the area around the garage door before our arrival
- Inform us of any known hazards or special conditions
- Ensure pets are secured during service
- Not attempt to repair garage door springs or other dangerous components yourself
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please contact us as soon as possible. We appreciate at least 24 hours notice for non-emergency appointments. Repeated no-shows may result in a service call fee for future appointments.
Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of Garage Door Specialists Inc and is protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.
Dispute Resolution
If you have a concern about our services, please contact us directly to resolve the issue. We are committed to customer satisfaction and will work with you to address any problems. Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the laws of the State of New York.
